Creed was formed in 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida. The band initially consisted of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed quickly rose to massive commercial success with their debut album, “My Own Prison,” released in 1997, followed by “Human Clay” in 1999 and “Weathered” in 2001. These albums spawned numerous hits and propelled the band to international fame. Creed disbanded in 2004 but reunited in 2009 to release “Full Circle” and subsequently went on tour.
