They weren’t overnight Sensations I took them awhile but once MTV got a hold of the video tour for a Walk Like an Egyptian, the Bangles became massive stars worldwide. Who didn’t fall in love with Susanna Huffs in that video? I know I did. The Bangles originated in Los Angeles, California in 1981.
